Windows 10 Clock Is Black
The Microsoft Edge web browser included with Windows 10 also has a dark theme. However, its dark theme option is entirely separate from the Dark Mode option in Settings for some reason. To activate the dark theme in Edge, click the menu button on the toolbar (the icon with three dots at the far right side), and then select the “Settings” option. In the “Choose A Theme” drop-down menu, choose the “Dark” option. However, after the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Update, the text of the clock has turned black. Black on black is hard to see, and I would like to fix this. All other text, e.g. My keyboard layout is still written in white - which is OK. Like many parts of Windows 10, Dark Mode feels a bit incomplete. Microsoft could include a dark theme option for Windows desktop applications, and the interface would look more cohesive. For now, though, this is what we’ve got. At least Microsoft has made the dark theme apply to File Explorer.
I am not talking about the digital clock that can be seen if the clock is clicked. I've changed the font type to bold but that didn't make much of a difference. My taskbar is transparent so darker backgrounds/websites make the clock illegible unless I hover over it.
I would also like to change the color and size of the font. I think I may need to take a stroll through the registry.
I know I can use a broad stroke and increase the size of everything through display settings. Looking for something more subtle and to the point.HELP please. I don't know how to change the color of the font, but I do know that if you right click on your desktop and click personalize, you can click on colors and have the option to check for accent colors to show on the start, taskbar and action center. It doesn't change the font color, but it allows you to make the taskbar whatever color you want it to be, so maybe you can find a color to where the contrast will make it easier to see. That doesn't change the color of the whole taskbar though.

Try it for yourself. I did try it.Ohhhh I see it now. You have to toggle an option to enable that. The taskbar definitely looks cool when you change the colors of the whole thing.
Windows 10 Clock Is Black Day
Thanks for the fact! Maybe try this.It will turn it transparent and leave your clock showing. My text shows up white, but it has always done that. Maybe it is a theme setting.Okay.
Were getting closer. That program doesn't help. It only changes the transparency type. I do however like the clear transparency. I thought about disabling a shell I was using. I was using it no less than 3 hours ago. I changed something in taskbar.
I changed the color. Can you figure out how to make the clock bigger? Through display settings I could push that to 150% but I only want to change the clock size. That is one thing I know I haven't done. I've been watching this thread for little while and experimenting with my test system on the side to see if I could get any good results. Here's the problem, with the taskbar being transparent, it is obviously going to depend on what is behind the taskbar that determines whether or not the clock font is visible. If the background is dark, a white font would be great.
If the background is a light Window, a black font would be better. So I decided to look for a different solution, one where you can actually change the background color where the clock is, while leaving the rest of the taskbar transparent. I just did this on my test system using. Normally I don't recommend disabling it, but view this page below first then you can decide if you want to temporarily disable your security software. Allow an exception with your security software.Link that shows that's is a clean program (review the 4 lines at the top of the page): https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/dbd9cbc23941621bf0e524daefe3f14980cb48821ff2da1aca4de1c89640c74f/analysis//.
